I was commissioned to paint this mural inspired by Brissa’s love for Xochimilco and embroidered Mexican flowers. Xochimilco was built on the same site as a major pre-Columbian city, Xochimilco is famous for its floating gardens and is a popular weekend destination among tourists who visit in boats. I used the entry way as the front of the boat with it’s typical boat name above the arch.
